Actor says he ‘almost died’ after eating Chipotle

Chipotle Mexican Grill on Monday denied allegations by actor Jeremy Jordan that eating at one of its restaurants landed him in the hospital.

Jordan, who plays Winn Schott on TV show “Supergirl,” posted an Instagram video on Thursday of himself on a hospital bed, saying that food he ate at a Chipotle made him severely sick and that he “almost died,” according to a People.com report.

“There have been no other reported claims of illness at the restaurant where (Jordan) dined. We take all claims seriously, but we can’t confirm any link to Chipotle, given the details he shared with us,” Chipotle spokesman Chris Arnold said via email.

Jordan’s allegations come as Chipotle is still recovering from a bruising string of food safety lapses that started in late 2015, including a recent norovirus outbreak at a Virginia restaurant.

The Denver-based burrito chain’s stock has fallen about 60 percent since an E. coli outbreak in 2015.

Shares of Chipotle fell as much as 6 percent to a near five-year low of $263.11 on Monday morning, but recouped most losses by afternoon. The stock was last down 0.4 percent.

Kylie Jenner Is Selling Lip Kits & Panties Out of a Truck

Published

Instagram

Kylie Jenner’s lip kits are making her a fortune. The reality star’s company, Kylie Cosmetics, has raked in $420 million in its first 18 months and is on track to become a billion dollar empire in the next few years.

In an effort to expand the beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics is hitting the road with the Kylie Truck. Picture a food truck with lip kits, because, well, why the fuck not?

Instagram

The truck made its debut Dec. 8 at The Grove in Los Angeles, with stops in Calabasas and Beverly Hills in the days following. The truck’s Insta account, which has already reached 144k followers, and likely growing, promises more stops to come soon.

Kylie’s truck sells lip kits, lipsticks and merch ranging from lighters to panties.

The 20-year-old hasn’t been spotted driving the beauty truck yet, and likely won’t be a passenger in it any time soon. She’s been keeping a low profile since dodging pregnancy rumors for the last few months. In September, rumors began circulating that Kylie was expecting a child with rapper boyfriend, Travis Scott.

Looks as though the closest anyone will get to Kylie now is by visiting her beauty truck.

Netflix knows what you binged last summer — and for the rest of 2017 for that matter. The streaming services revealed its end of the year stats with some surprising facts about our binging habits.

Perhaps the most bizarre bingeing habit comes from 53 people who watched the same Christmas movie 18 days in a row, as Netflix savagely tweeted out.

Netflix reports the biggest streaming day of the year was January 1. Makes sense.

In more bingeing facts, the streaming service says Mexico had the most members watching Netflix every single day. Globally, 140 million hours were watched per day. That’s 1 billion hours each week.

The average member watched 60 movies this year. In fact, one member watched Pirate of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl 365 days in a row!

Oh, and someone in Antartica binge-watched the entire series of “Shameless.”
